We are excited to share our participation in the Taqat Forum London.
The event was held at the fifth floor of the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Hall.
The TAQAT Forum focuses on enhancing Iraq-UK ties, with emphasis on entrepreneurial innovations & future business in Iraq. There were several talks by keynote speakers on various topics including E-Commerce, Fintech, Healthcare, Education and the Creative Economy.
Several members of the youth committee attended the event, along with Dr Ahmed Jehanli – President of the Executive Body of the AIA and this is what they had to say:
“It’s wonderful to see so many young and enthusiastic speakers at the event. Iraqi truly has a wonderful future ahead of it if this type of energy can be harnessed and to truly unleash the potential of youth, education must be set at the heart of government policy. Exploring the academia talent here in the UK and forming ties with our colleagues in Iraq will go a long way to building a brighter better Iraq.”

In general, the event was successful and particularly informative for those who may not be familiar with or have limited connections to Iraq. I was impressed by the budding business acumen of the younger generation, witnessing their shift towards contemplating entrepreneurship instead of relying solely on public employment. It was rewarding to observe the establishment of connections, bridging our two homes.”
